As someone who has had over seven different driving instructors in my life, I can honestly say that Pål is the best I have ever had. A common fear for new students is that driving schools will try to drag out the process to make the most money – I have experienced that before, but NEVER with Pål. He is patient, clear in communication, down to earth and hardworking. When you sign up with Elvebyen, you get close and personal follow-up that is rare to find. Many schools switch you around from teacher to teacher, and that makes it difficult to have a common thread in the training. With Pål you don't have to do that. He runs a one-man show – and yes, that may mean he is sought after and has a lot to do – but it is definitely worth it. Pål is a no-bullshit type, he says things as they are, but always in a constructive and motivating way. If I were to ever take the exam again, I would without a doubt choose Elvebyen again. I can only give five stars here, but if it were possible, he would have gotten ten.

Got the note here not so long ago, the driving instructor was very attentive to what I did right and wrong. Good explanations and solutions to my mistakes. He always tried to make me understand for myself what I did wrong instead of just saying it out loud and it really helped in improving my driving skills.
