People at Valand Trafikkskole are friendly; communication is easy, everybody is very responsive. Cars are in great condition; the school is in a good location. Everything logistic and administrative (payment, scheduling…) is efficient and transparent, eg. managed very well through digital platforms. The instructors know how to explain and clarify things, and adjust their instructing / teaching around your needs. Instruction and feedback are clear and straightforward but always positive and encouraging, and never rushed. In that sense they are as much professional drivers as they are professional instructors / teachers. Everybody is flexible, helpful and very accommodating, for example in working around scheduling obstacles. Both nerves and schedule restrictions on my side made the process not always smooth and easy for me, and their individual efforts and support made a huge difference in obtaining my Norwegian driving license. If you do NOT use these guys you are WASTING YOUR MONEY! Throughout the entire process, they were fast to respond to questions when you text. I am new to Norway, and they took all of the headache out of it for me. The instructor is meticulous, and breaks everything down simply so you can understand it. He told me exactly what I needed to practice in order to pass, and I ended up passing with flying colors. When I finally took my test, the driving test administrator had no problems with anything, and I passed with 100%. I am from the US, and I was exchanging my license, and I can confidently say I would not have been able to pass without their help. Don’t waste your money at other schools, these guys are the best in the business. Thanks again guys for everything, take care!

Highly recommend this team! I needed to exchange my overseas license. Glenn worked around multiple obstacles, in a short period of time, to find a good time for my practical test. He answered every email and question and did everything he could to accommodate. Arvid was a fantastic driving instructor. He helped me make some adjustments to my driving style so that I was more comfortable on the road (other side of the road, with new rules!). He was very patient with my nerves that kept getting the better of me.
